Key promotion of E business

Providing any kind of web services, there are many companies but maintaining IT standards, policies is doing few companies. when we talk about e-business any body can make site with all the technologies with passing all the security levels and hope for the best to waiting for making money. But the competition is so high , so if keeping a site with high tech without any marketing promotion you e-mail will fail within few days. That’s why we need to define promotion for e business web sites. Modern days the key promotion for e-business is Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

Why I am saying SEO is the best tool for make you business TOP , just think simply after the visibility we promote to take goods and services from any ware in the world. Same policy will apply for WEB marketing also. SEO make your site mainly TOP visibility. I have seen good article by David Leonhardt regarding how you make you site with fully SEO orient.

Be bold. Use the tags around some of your keywords on each page. Do NOT use them everywhere the keyword appears. Once or twice is plenty.

Deep linking. Make sure you have links coming in to as many pages as possible. What does it tell a search engine when other web sites are linking to different pages on your site? That you obviously have lots of worthwhile content. What does it tell a search engine that all your links are coming in to the home page? That you have a shallow site of little value, or that your links were generated by automation rather than by the value of your site. Here is an example of deep linking, in this case to my personal happiness workbook.

Become a foreigner. Canada and the UK have many directories for websites of companies based in those countries. Can you get a business address in one of those countries?

Newsletters. Offer articles to ezine publishers that archive their ezines. The links stay live often for many years in their archives.

First come, first served. If you must have image links in your navigation bar, include also text links. However, make sure the text links show up first in the source code, because search engine robots will follow the first link they find to any particular page. They won't follow additional links to the same page. You can see this in action at the link to the home page on this web site monitoring page

Multiple domains. If you have several topics that could each support their own website, it might be worth having multiple domains. Why? First, search engines usually list only one page per domain for any given search, and you might warrant two. Second, directories usually accept only home pages, so you can get more directory listings this way. Why not a site dedicated to gumbo pudding pops?

Article exchanges. You've heard of link exchanges, useless as they generally are. Article exchanges are like link exchanges, only much more useful. You publish someone else's article on the history of pudding pops with a link back to their site. They publish your article on the top ten pudding pop flavors in Viet Nam, with a link back to your site. You both have content. You both get high quality links. (More on high quality links in other tips.)

Titles for links. Links can get titles, too. Not only does this help visually impaired surfers know where you are sending them, but some search engines figure this into their relevancy for a page.

Not anchor text. Don't overdo the anchor text. You don't want all your inbound links looking the same, because that looks like automation - something Google frowns upon. Use your URL sometimes, your company name other times, "Gumbo Pudding Pop" occasionally, "Get gumbo pudding pops" as well, "Gumbo-flavored pudding pops" some other times, etc.

Site map. A big site needs a site map, which should be linked to from every page on the site. This will help the search engine robots find every page with just two clicks. A small site needs a site map, too. It's called the navigation bar. See how the second navigation bar at the bottom of Last Minute Florida Villas is like a mini-site map?

I am hoping this will help a lot to people who interesting promote their business online .

Connection Limit ON ISA 2004..

I have monitored several time I got this alert from my ISA 2004 dashboard , and I got the results from MSFT,
ISA Server sets a default value for connection limits, or you can define a custom connection limit for the ISA Server computer. In ISA Server 2004 Enterprise Edition, this custom limit applies to all array members. Then, you specify IP addresses to which this custom limit should apply. A typical IP address assigned a custom limit would be a Web server, which may require many connections, and therefore need an increased limit. Custom IP addresses can be defined using computer sets.

Connection Limit Configuration

There are a number of places to configure connection limits in ISA Server Management:

  • General node. To set this value globally for all types of ISA Server traffic (incoming requests to published servers and outgoing requests from Internal clients), specify connection limit settings in the General node of ISA Server Management. For instructions, see Specify connection limits in Appendix A: Configuring Connection Limits.
  • Web listener. You can specify connection limits for a specific Web listener. Web listeners are used in Web publishing rules, and one Web listener may have multiple rules. When you specify a connection limit on the Web listener, you are limiting the number of connections allowed to Web sites published using the specific listener. For instructions, see Specify connection limits for a Web listener in Appendix A: Configuring Connection Limits.
  • Web proxy on a specific network. You can specify a connection limit on the Web proxy properties of a specific network object. Web Proxy Filter handles outgoing HTTP traffic on port 80. When you specify this connection limit on a specific network, you limit the number of concurrent outgoing Web connections that are allowed on a specific network at any specific time. For instructions, see Specify Web proxy connection limits for a network in Appendix A: Configuring Connection Limits.

Would You Rather Have Better Sex or More Money?

The list of reasons to do the deed just keeps getting longer. Medical researchers are coming forward saying that having enjoyable sex can decrease the risk of heart disease in men, increase longevity in women, decrease general pain and make you feel younger. But, perhaps most interestingly of all, Drs. Michael Roizen and Mehmet Oz, authors of "You: Being Beautiful" (and, of course, the pet docs of the all-powerful Oprah) are saying that upping your sexy time is like striking it rich. According to them, increasing sex from once a month to once a week creates an increase in happiness that's the equivalent of $50,000 of additional income for the average American. WHAAA?! Can this be? And if so which would you prefer -- the sex or the money?

ISA Server alert: Event ID: 14147

This issue occurs if the ISA Server or Microsoft Forefront Threat Management Gateway, Medium Business Edition network objects do not match the routing table entries that ISA Server uses to understand the network topology. Event ID 14147 may be logged when you first create a remote site network when you configure a site-to-site VPN connection in ISA Server.

ISA Server requires that only one network adapter is associated with a single ISA Server network, and that network adapter IP addresses are not configured in more than one network. IP address ranges must be configured correctly for ISA Server network objects, and match the routing table. Network object definitions should include all remote subnets that can be reached through the adapter that is associated with the network. Additionally, persistent static routes should be defined in the routing table for each remote subnet.

On the computer that is running Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server, Microsoft Forefront Threat Management Gateway, Medium Business Edition, or Windows Essential Business Server 2008, you may experience all the following symptoms:
  • Some client computers on the internal network cannot connect to the computer that is running ISA Server or Microsoft Forefront Threat Management Gateway, Medium Business Edition or connect to external resources through the ISA Server computer.
  • You may receive an IP spoofing message.
  • One or both of the following events may appear in the Application log in Event Viewer.
    • Event Source: Microsoft Firewall
      Event Category: None
      Event ID: 14147
      Date: date
      Time: time
      Type: Error
      User: N/A
      Computer: computer name
      Description: ISA Server detected routes through adapter "adapter name" that do not correlate with the network element to which this adapter belongs. The address ranges in conflict are: start IP address - end IP address;. Fix the network element and/or the routing table to make these ranges consistent; they should be in both or in neither. If you recently created a mobile site network, check if the event recurs. If it does not, you may safely ignore this message.

    • Event Source: Microsoft Firewall
      Event Category: None
      Event ID: 15108
      Date: date
      Time: time
      Type: Error
      User: N/A
      Computer: computer name
      Description: ISA Server detected a spoof attack from Internet Protocol (IP) address IP address. A spoof attack occurs when an IP address that is not reachable via the interface on which the packet was received. If logging for dropped packets is set, you can view details in the packet filter log.

Notes from blogger

I have seen wrong sub net on my WAN adpter in ISA 2004 computer. according to the IP sub net would be 255.0.0.0 for 10.0.0.1 ,, but my ADSL device recorded IP is 10.0.0.2 for sub net 255.255.255.0 . I have changed my end WAN IP subnet as follwoing 255.255.255.0 due to that error that I am receiving several time. Hope this will work. ANy idea that you have guys ...??

.NET Vs PHP

I am in bit confusing about choosing the correct language for a new project ( Focused on bulk e-mail handling)

Feature

.Net

PHP

Compiled Code – Increases website speed (precompiled is the fastest)

Yes – both precompiled and dynamically compiled when a page is requested

No – a 3rd party accelerator can be used to increase performance but it is not installed on most shared hosting servers.

Scripted Language – results in poor website performance

No

Yes – a 3rd party accelerator can be used to increase performance but it is not installed on most shared hosting servers.

Object Oriented – Increases the ability for code reuse and provides enhanced features as well as reduced development time; since code is more reusable, results in fewer bugs that can be discovered by any client and fixed for everyone; encourages developers to write more maintainable code.

Yes

No

Supported Development Languages – easier to find developers

C++, C#, Visual Basic.NET, Jscript.NET, Python, Perl, Java (J#), COBOL, Eiffel, Delphi – 25 languages supported currently

PHP

Browser Specific HTML Rendering – different HTML is automatically sent to IE than to Netscape, reducing incompatibility issues

Yes

No

Open Source

No

Yes

Any comments you guys ..!!

best practices for network security

This virus came year 2004 and year 2006 and it’s 100% identified form Symantec and Bitdefender , known as subject : Mail server report.

Symantec - http://www.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2006-092111-0525-99&tabid=2

W32.Stration@mm
Risk Level 2: Low
Subject:
One of the following:
* Good Day
* Server Report
* hello
* picture
* Status
* test
* Error
* Mail Delivery System
* Mail Transaction Failed
* Mail server report.

Bitdefender - http://www.bitdefender.com/VIRUS-1000048-en--Win32.MyDoom.M@mm.html

Win32.MyDoom.M@mm
( I-Worm.Mydoom.m )
Spreading: high
Damage: medium
Size: ~28k
Discovered: 2004 Jul 26

All above issues are fixed by Microsoft from there patch files and specially Service pack 2 [SP2] ( For Genuine WindowsXP users are more protected with Service pack 3) Our network protected with Symantec Corporate 10.5 ( Including DNS (Local) server gateway) and all the PC’s of our network are armed SP2.

Above tag is not confirmation that we are fully protected with all internet threats , virus , Hoaxes , Trojans and SPAM’s. Please do below best practices and we planning to move new virus guard solution in future.

Best practices: In any condition ( Virus warning or mass SPAM mail ex: unknown news letter) is there a e-mail form unknown party don’t try to open it , jest delete it (use SHIFT+DEL key for permanent delete). Don’t share your official e-mail address in your personal web profiles (on line user registrations and ect.)
